A seasoned bassist with a love for the low end, his journey through music has taken him from smoky jazz lounges to roaring rock stages, but the bass has always been his true home.
Inspired by legends like Jaco Pastorius and Flea, Jason brings versatility, precision, and pure rhythmic soul to every song. Whether it’s a funk-infused groove, a driving honky-tonk shuffle, or a melodic bassline that sings, he anchors the music with passion, finesse, and an undeniable groove.

It all started at a high school basketball game in Simms, Montana—eight-year-old Lance heard the pep band’s drummer and knew he was hooked for life. From those first beats to playing gigs in high school, his journey led him through classic country, swing, southern rock, and beyond. When he landed in California in the ‘80s, the blues found him, and he never looked back.
Years of playing, countless bands, and thousands of miles later, Lance has honed a deep, unshakable sense of groove—the kind that moves like a freight train and flows like an open road. Whether it's the steady pulse of a country shuffle, the swing of a honky-tonk two-step, or the grit of a bluesy backbeat, he’s the heartbeat of the band, keeping the Dirt Road Ramblers rolling.
Call it the soul of a hobo or just the magic of the right place at the right time, but one thing’s for sure—wherever the ride leads, Lance is there, sticks in hand, ready to play the next song. 🥁🔥
Scott
Rhythm Guitar
The Chord Wrangler 🎸🎶
Drawn to rhythm guitar by the rock ‘n’ roll sounds of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Scott’s musical journey has been one of constant growth, evolution, and passion. While working for the City of Sparks, he had the privilege of playing alongside founding members of the local band White Water, adding his steady rhythm to annual holiday awards ceremonies and retirement celebrations.
After retiring in 2019, he took his love for music a step further, diving into lessons to expand his abilities—because as he’s always believed, learning never stops. That mindset led him to this current project, where his steady strumming and rich chords help drive the Dirt Road Ramblers’ sound.
Scott was struck by simple truth in this quote: "Any person who learns an instrument is never lonely." And with a guitar in hand and DRR by his side, he’s got all the crazy company he’ll ever need. 🎶🔥
Dan

🎸 The Six-String Sorcerer 🎸
When it comes to swampy solos and soul-shaking riffs, no one does it quite like Dan. A true virtuoso of the guitar, he's been slinging six strings longer than some of us have been tying our own shoes. From bluesy bends to lightning-fast licks, Dan’s playing is the kind that makes jaws drop and air guitars appear out of nowhere.
Offstage, he's just as legendary—a laid-back, all-around awesome guy who’s always got a good joke, a great story, or the perfect song recommendation up his sleeve. Whether he's shredding with the band, jamming with friends, or searching for the next great tune, Dan’s passion for music is as contagious as his killer riffs.
Simply put, if music had a Hall of Heroes, Dan would be on the cover. 🎤🔥
Erik
Keys 🎹
🔥The Honky Tonk Maestro 🔥
If honky-tonk had a heartbeat, Erik would be the one playing it. With lightning-fast fingers and a knack for making the keys sing, he brings that classic barroom boogie, honky-tonk twang, and pure musical magic to every show. Whether he's laying down a rockin’ solo or adding that unmistakable country piano flair, Erik knows exactly how to get the crowd moving...and he does it all with a grin, a joke, and just the right amount of mischief.
Loud? Oh, you’ll hear him before you see him. Funny? Always. Charming? Of course. But beyond the wit and wild piano skills, Erik is a family man, a true friend, and a musician through and through. His love for music runs deep, and when he’s onstage, you can feel it in every note.
So if you hear a killer piano riff, a big laugh, and someone calling out, “Let’s do it AGAIN!" chances are, that’s Erik doing what he does best. 🎶 🎹
